i was having a good laughter by myself ytd...seriously, i have nothing to do so i went to the forum and look under the humor part..i swear i laugh too much late at night!!!i was telling those jokes to my sis but it ended up, i m the one who laugh the most...there's this part about "truth about most asians"..so here we go...do check whether it is true...lol..1. When other kids ask for new shoes because the ones they have now are out of style, they get it. When asian kids ask for new shoes because theirs are old and worn out, they get a nice long lecture on how their parents went to school all those years ago barefoot walking 3 feet deep in snow, mud, you name it.(this is so true esp for my parents!!!)2. When other kids bring home a report card showing ONE A in P.E, their parents practically frame that piece of paper, displaying it for God and all to see. When an asian kid brings home a report card showing 6 A's and ONE B, they get: "Why is there only 6 A's and not 7?!"(TRUE!!..asian parents won't be happy until u get a perfect scores...my parents used to be like those but not ANYMORE)3. When other kids graduate from High school, they get new cars. When asian kids graduate from H.S., they get the family car.(i m not sure bout this)4. When other kids do something bad, they are grounded. When asian kids do something their parents think is bad, they get a beating, whether by stick, by electric cord or by baseball bat, prepare to get beat down.(I SWEAR THIS IS TRUE!!!!i got a whack frm my parents wen i m a kid...they whack with anything they have on their hands!!!even a broom...lol...reminds me of DES!!!)5. When other kids threaten to run away from home, their parents try to talk them out of it. When asian kids threaten to run away, their parents go into their rooms and start packing for them.(TRUE!!reminds me of DES again...she just told me about this the other days)
then there's this part about cupid love where love matters...
they were talking about LOOKS over PERSONALITY...
this have to be the funniest one...
cos this person was talking about her sister so called boyfriend...she wrote that "every time she have a boyfriend that is NERD,BIG EARS,MONOTONE VOICE"(this is the funny one) though she's quite bad in writing those things...
BUT!!! there's some sense in this discussion...
LOOKS CAPTURE YOUR ATTENTION BUT PERSONALITY KEEPS YOUR ATTENTION...
it was funny but hey!!!it slap me with some sense too...like cute girls vs mature girls then like some love troubles which sounds like some drama....lol...
